Future First was founded in 2018 as a result of Yara Goldstein and Amy Nickerson engaging in conversations at family events regarding the importance of teaching our own children about money and introducing them to the concepts of saving, spending and donating. These conversations led to passionate discussions about all children and the realization that as a nation, we do not teach our youth the essential concepts of how money works. This made no sense to either one of us.

We created the Future First Foundation for Financial Literacy to fill this unmet need. Our hope is to provide all children with the knowledge, tools, and confidence to build healthy financial habits that will last a lifetime.
